Charlie Kaufman didn't win

Okay...the Golden Globes were all right. Aviator got Best Drama, Leo got actor, Shore got score, but Kaufman didn't get screenplay and Eternal Sunshine didn't get Comedy and both times was beat out by, of all films, SIDEWAYS, which had better acting, but a far less superior screenplay and just wasn't nearly as good a film as Sunshine.

So yeah...that sums up my thoughts on the Globes...Kaufman didn't win...

Dude, did you see Johnny Depp talking to Lucy Liu on the red carpet? It was hilarious. She asked him if there was anyone he had always dreamt of playing and he said Mae West. Then he said he was probably too old for her now and he guessed he'd like to play Carol Channing. Lucy Liu stared at him for three seconds before asking a completely unrelated question.

Yeah, that incident just further reaffirmed that Depp is the man.

As a side note, that wasn't Lucy Liu. That was some red carpet chick who looks a hell of a lot like Lucy Liu.

As I wrote Lucy Liu the second time, I stopped and thought about whether it was really her for at least half a minute. The mouth seemed different, but I didn't feel like Googling it to make sure. Thanks for the heads up.

I was wondering if she had gotten implants!
