Hate to post again so soon, but...

Just talked to Michael Fullman, and I talked to my dad earlier, and both said Coffee House went uber-well. All the acts were high-class, the crowd wasn't that large (which you may think is a bad thing, but every now and then, lemme tell you, you couldn't ASK for a greater blessing). There weren't any freshman stand-outs, which is lame 'cause my brother and I always held the belief that every year some freshman breaks out in the House. Two years ago it was Maddy Bennet. Last year Tyler Montgomery. But who knows, maybe there was and Michael isn't perceptive enough.

But yeah, thought ya'll would wanna know 'cause a lot of you put in some hours on the House (or just freeloaded to get good seats).

Oh Coffeehouse...good times. I'm sure some freshman will step up. It's only the first coffeehouse after all.

I was talking with a couple of the now-seniors. Evidentally the reason it was light attendance was because the school finally went uber-strict on having tickets. It got really bad, and Jeff Benz, being the friggen idiot he is, decided to get a roll of similar tickets so that he could get in, from there other people got them from him. The school went as far as to announce that anyone using a fake ticket would be given an integrity violation. I talked to Chris Fallin, he managed to record the entire coffeehouse in a raw audio output. Its a direct line feed off the board, and once he converts the filetype and brings the filesize down (currently its 786 MB) I'll steal a copy and share it out to you guys, so you can hear it. The one flaw is that Bauer's mic didnt work. You can hear him somewhat... but not nearly well enough.

As long as we can hear his guitar.

And I wouldn't worry about the Freshman thing. Remember, it took me 12 Coffeehouses before I had my debut.

Yeah, I heard about the ticket situation, but my bro talked Hogan down to a JUG.

As for the Coffee House recording, I'm highly opposed to it. I think the House is there as an experience to those who get their butts in the door, regardless of the reason you couldn't make it. Same reason I never watch concerts on DVD or any of that.

I can't really stop ya, but that's my view on it.

Talked Hogan down to a JUG? See this is one of many reasons why I love your brother. Chris fucking rocks.

In anycase, I had no involvement with the recording of Coffeehouse, I found out about it after the fact. I just thought that'd it'd be fun to hear some of the stuff again, seeeing as how I can't anymore, and I thought that I'd toss the offering of the file to you guys too, just incase you wanted to hear it. I don't blame you for your opinion, I actually fully agree with it. The content of Coffeehouse was only a part of the experience. The atmosphere and environment definately made it, that however, is not going to stop me from hearing it again.

You heard that it was good? Hmm... My sister went and said it was not nearly as nice or as good as last year. Of corse she was spoilled last year with our all-star seniors, but i suppose your brother is woking on the inside, so he may be biased as well, I guess we'll never know the truth, just kidding. But hey, from what it sounds like from both sides, some liked it and some didn't that was usually the case in the past too i suppose. Anyhow I'm not sure about the froshy thing, but i do know that Jeff is being really hard on the testing thing this year
shes already taken three; sound, flysystem, and basic locations. There is alot to look forward to this year at JHS.
