a detective novel investigating the occulted origins and international network of Nazi interests, with a thousand vectors spinning off it, almost like a bomber throwing off chaff, decoys, flares, tracers; on a holy mission to find and reveal the fascist underground that preceded and survived WWII, an enemy who can't be directly named but lies beneath our feet like some unitary fungus kingdom of decay, that's been alive for millennia and will continue to send forth fruiting bodies until we find its core
