Highlights include a canoe that broke in half in the water, another canoe that kinda broke in half in the water, a canoe collision that kinda broke another canoe, and sitting in a nice fireman's pickup truck to warm up after taking 4th place in the women's endurance race. Also, University of Wisconsin Madison lost, which never happens. The winning team (Evansville) got a standing ovation, we got a little glass trophy, and Marquette Engineering got its most successful concrete canoe in the history of the school. It kind of felt like the Miracle on Ice, only it was the Miracle on Lake St. Mary's. Slightly less ice.

aww that's so cool. I love hearing about your concrete canoe races.
don't let her downplay them. the marquette canoe was sleek and those girls were fast, with A at the prow like washington crossing the delaware. if washington ate pizza while the other fellas rowed. no seriously, i was very impressed.
also, the second time I came through i was with my medical entomology lab cuz we were gonna go find some mosquito larva in tires and things in the forest and i shit you not we got made fun of by engineers.
(i told my buddy max that it would be a great event to commit nerd genocide. then i started thinking about the best event to commit dbag genocide. right now i'm wavering between resorts during spring break in mexico, you know where they have direct beach access and the kids don't even meet a mexican besides their concierge, or arizona state university)
Targeting spring break in mexico would probably be a better choice as it has a larger concentration of dbags with few to no innoncent casualties.
