----1 part inventive percussion 1 part vocal coolness (but not aloof!) 1 part guitar that exists to highlight the voices and work within the drums.  they knew this ratio in the 80's with The Police and others but it was lost with the loudness wars.



-----idk what the hell else you could want.  about once a week I get on spotify and try to think of an album that will just no-question put me in a good mood.  on a good day I remember this.
